Katherine Roman Otero

Katherine Roman Otero is an Associate Attorney who joined L&L Immigration Law, PLLC in the fall of 2019. Katherine grew up in Puerto Rico and earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at the University of Puerto Rico in Bayamón. She obtained her law degree at the Inter American University of Puerto Rico Law School and graduated in 2019 with the honors of Summa Cum Laude.
While in law school, Katherine interned at the Oficina Legal para la Comunidad of the Inter-American University. Her interest in working with immigrants began when her parents spoke to her about the problem’s immigrants faced in the United States and the refugee crisis in Europe.
Katherine is fluent in Spanish and English. Her work with L&L Immigration Law focuses on removal and asylum defense. She is able to represent individuals before the Arlington Immigration Court, the Arlington Asylum Office, and the USCIS Fairfax and Norfolk offices.
In her free time, Katherine likes to read, watch Korean dramas, and spend time with her pets and husband.
